UPDATE: 6/7/13 – Former M’s pitcher Jeff Nelson has just recently sold his beautiful home in sunny Carnation, WA. After a couple price drops, Nelson ended up selling his private 3 acre estate for just under $1.5M. Not a bad deal since according to county records Nelson purchased the land in 1998 for $190k and looks to have had the home custom built. As great of a deal this was for Nelson, it won’t compare to another former Seattle Mariner now turned up and coming “property flipper”, Alex Rodriguez, who recently profited himself around $15M on his Miami beachfront home. Or even to “Bad to the Bone” Jay Buhner, who not long ago sold his 80 acre estate in Fall City, WA for $5M.
