Professional Golfer Fred Couples Selling His La Quinta,CA House For $4.195M

Professional Golfer Fred Couples just recently put his La Quinta, CA house up for sale at $4.195M. Couples’ uses the house as a place to relax at the end of the golf season, although he now plans to build a new custom home in the same development. According to county records Couples purchased the home back in 2009 for $3,047,500.

Couples Spanish style retreat was built in 2008 and is 5,173 sq-ft with 4 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms and sits on 0.44 acres located in the Madison Club development. Not much is lacking here as the villa comes completely furnished and also includes a private courtyard with a fountain, beautiful Southwest mountain views, an outdoor swimming pool with a spa and a fire pit. Inside the home features limestone & wood floors, arched windows, stone carved elements, custom wood cabinetry and doors, a great room with a massive stone fireplace, a gourmet kitchen with Wolf appliances, granite counter tops, walk in wine room & pantry and a custom built-in BBQ right outside the pocket doors, and 2 Master Suites (one up and one down) with stone fireplaces, luxurious master baths (one with a private outdoor shower), plus both have private terraces that open up to the expansive mountain views.

Couples’ joined the PGA Tour in 1982 and the Champions Tour last year. Among his wins are the 1992 Masters Tournament and this year’s Senior Players Championship.
