MLB Pitcher Ryan Madson Selling His $2.199M CA House

MLB pitcher for the Cincinnati Reds, Ryan Madson, is selling his 2008 custom built home in Ladera Ranch, CA for $2.199M according to Realtor.com. During the 2011-12 offseason, Madson signed a 1 year $8.5M contract with the Reds. Although, while still in spring training Madson suffered an elbow injury to his throwing arm that required Tommy John surgery. He will most likely miss the entire 2012 season.

Madson’s house is 6,750 sq-ft with 5 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms, a 3 car garage, and sits on 0.32 acres. The home offers luxurious features throughout along with a first floor guest suite, office, billiards room with wine cellar and full bar, and a gourmet kitchen with $40,000 La Cornue range, 2 dishwashers, Sub Zero refrigerator & freezer, marble countertops, double ovens and warming drawer. There’s also a Master Suite on the second floor that includes a huge walk in closet with a marble topped center island and refrigerator. The exterior of Madson’s home is definitely not lacking and is just as luxurious as the interior. It includes an outdoor entertainment space with patio area, a solar heated pool & spa, and an outdoor living room with fireplace.

I'm a Real Estate Broker in Bellevue, WA and have been actively involved in the real estate industry for over 10 years. Helping people find their family's own "Home Sweet Home" is something I truly enjoy. I also love simply looking at homes; the design, architecture, quality, and every feature that makes each home unique. Recently I also had the opportunity to feature and host a home on HGTV’s “Million Dollar Rooms”. Take a look at some very unique and amazing homes owned by Professional Athletes. Enjoy!
