New York Yankees first baseman Mark Teixeira has decided to rent out his rustic lodge-style home rather than sell it.

The estate is located in the 525 acre community of Vaquero; which is located in the town of Westlake, TX, a neighborhood that Forbes named the most affluent in the U.S. Public records show Teixeira’s Vaquero home was first listed in 2008 for $5.75M, then reduced to $4.55M, and again reduced to $3.995M. He recently put the estate up for rent at $15,000 a month and quickly locked in New Orleans Saints head coach Sean Payton as his new tenant.

Teixeira’s home is located on 1.08 acres and has 8554 sq-ft, 5 bedrooms, 6 bathrooms, and a guest house. The extensive main house has a gourmet eat-in kitchen, massive game room with bar and deck, and a 2-level office. The master suite includes His & Her baths, a gas fireplace and a huge patio with an infinity-pool style hot tub.
