Mike Singletary Selling His Saratoga,CA Home For $3.295M

Mike Singletary, 1985’s NFL Defensive Player of the Year, and current Minnesota Vikings linebackers coach, is selling his home in Saratoga, CA at a list price of $3.295M. The home was originally listed in July of this year at $3.998M, and since then Singletary and his wife have reduced the price a few times.

Singletary’s home was built in 2002 and was completely rebuilt with a $750,000 remodel. The privately gated home is 4,895 sq-ft with 6 bedrooms, 6 bathrooms and is located on 1.04 acres approximately an hour south of San Francisco. The home features a massive kitchen with island, bonus room, spa bathtub in the Master Suite, a wood-paneled den, separate guest quarters, home office, outdoor kitchen with bar & outdoor fireplace, outdoor spa & custom in-ground pool.

Singletary was also known as ‘Samurai Mike’ and ‘Iron Mike’ during his NFL career due to his intimidating focus and intensity on the football field. He was also known as the ‘Minister of Defense’ as Singletary is also an ordained minister.

Singletary was named NFL Defensive Player of the Year by the Associated Press in 1985 and 1988. He was elected to the College Football Hall of Fame in 1995 and to the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1998. In 1999, he was ranked number 56 on The Sporting News list of the 100 Greatest Football Players.
