Chicago Bulls’ Kyle Korver and his new wife Juliet Richardson are selling their private Illinois house, which is reportedly under contract for $1.475M according to Curbed.com. Korver bought the home back in 2010 for $1.38M, and it’s been rumored that the couple is now looking at something a little smaller, possibly a townhome, with the future plans of building a permanent home elsewhere. Korver’s listing agent, MaryJane Serene of Koenig & Strey, has stated when they do move somewhere more permanent, it won’t be in Chicago. Although not to worry Bulls’ fans, Korver doesn’t plan on leaving the team anytime soon.
Korver’s custom house comes complete with high-end finishes throughout and includes 5 bedrooms, 5 designer bathrooms, 3 fireplaces, and has a total of 16 rooms. The 2 story brick home was built in 2008 and features a 2-story grand foyer with columns and arched doorways, hardwood floors and heated marble flooring, a gourmet kitchen with huge entertaining island, a new designer closet in the Master Suite, geothermal heat and air, built-in surround sound throughout, a sauna, and a completely finished basement with private theater, game room / arcade, and rec room. There’s also a high tech camera security system, outdoor fireplace off the paver patio, and a heated driveway.
