Alex Rodriguez Selling His $38M Miami Waterfront Luxury Mansion

You may remember Alex Rodriguez purchasing and building his $24M dollar Miami waterfront luxury mansion back in 2010 and moving in October 2011. Now the MLB’s highest paid athlete is selling his Florida mega mansion in the hopes to turn a slight profit, as he listed the home in August for $38M.

The Rodriguez estate is certainly not lacking in anyway, and definitely lives up to the standards of what any luxury mega mansion should be and should include. A-Rod’s 23,000 sq-ft home has 9 bedrooms, 13 bathrooms, a 4 car garage, and sits on a completely private 1.11 acre lot with a 16 camera security system and 275 feet of private water frontage. The oceanfront home also includes open terraces, glass walls, marble and hardwood floors, walk-in closets throughout, an elevator, great room, sauna, guest house, a custom infinity pool, an outdoor kitchen and lounging patio, 2 docks, incredible ocean views, and a 3,000 sq-ft sporting facility with theatre, a billiards room, and batting cage. (Listed by Mayi De La Vega of ONE Sotheby’s International Realty).

This isn’t the first time Rodriguez will stand to make a profit on a piece of real estate. He recently purchased a 5 bedroom, 5.5 bath, full-floor condo at The Rushmore for $5.5M, and in no-time sold it to a buyer for $8M.
