The NBA’s youngest ever MVP, and Chicago Bulls All-Star, Derrick Rose, is now the proud owner of his new high-rise condo in Chicago’s Trump Tower according to the Huffington Post.
Rose’s $2.8M Trump Tower condo has 3 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, and an open floor plan with 3,102 sf-ft. The Trump Tower is Chicago’s second tallest skyscraper and Rose’s unit shows off expansive city views of Chicago and Lake Michigan, as it is located on the 84th floor. Rose is also thinking of purchasing the adjacent 1 bedroom unit with the plans of knocking down the wall and making a more flowing, larger floor plan for himself. Rose told Crain’s Chicago Business, “It’s definitely an unbelievable feeling just being up there… The view is nice and I don’t take it for granted. It’s a blessing.”
It’s safe to say Rose is planning to stay in Chicago and with the Bulls for a while too; as last year he signed a 5 year contract extension with the Bulls for $94M. This last year, he also signed with Adidas one of the highest paying athletic endorsement deals in sports history, a “lifetime” contract worth up to $200M over the next 13 years.
