Alex Rodriguez – Quite The Property “Flipper”
Alex Rodriguez is becoming known for not only his amazing talent on the baseball field, but also for his success in the real estate world as well. The NY Yankees third baseman just recently closed on the sale of his Miami home, at a sales price of $30M dollars per our friends over at ESPN. Not only did the sale go through successfully, but Rodriguez also put an extra $15M bucks in his pocket. Not a bad day at the office.
According to our ESPN buddy’s, Rodriguez purchased the 54,000 sq-ft plot of waterfront land for $7.4M back in 2010. His own construction company, Newport Property Construction, then spent the next 11 months building his 20,000 sq-ft Mega Mansion in which Rodriguez invested around another $7.4M dollars into the build. The home is also on the same street of houses as Chris Bosh, Dwyane Wade and Matt Damon.
What Amenities Does An “Alex Rodriguez” Mega Mansion Include?
Rodriguez’s Miami Mega Mansion comes complete with 9 bedrooms, 11 bathrooms, glass windows in the rear of the home that adjust so you can walk straight out to the back deck, a roof top dek, zen garden, and European white oak flooring are included throughout this massive 23,000 sq-ft home. There’s also a 4 car garage, a batting cage, billiards room, a 3,000 sq-ft sporting facility with theater, marble floors, glass walls, an elevator, great room, guest house, sauna, infinity pool, an outdoor kitchen, 2 docks, a 16 camera security system, and of course… the most amazing Miami ocean views you’ve ever seen… all perfectly situated on a completely private 1.11 acre lot.
Rodriguez’s Other Money Making Homes
Rodriguez also made a nice profit on a full-floor Manhattan condo at The Rushmore he purchased for $5.5M in October 2011. Rodriguez didn’t own the 5 bedroom, 5.5 bath condo very long. In less than 8 months he sold it to a new buyer for $8M.

I love that movie room. Where’s he moving to? He’s probably going to spend another 15 million on a home I take it?
